X4 Group Ltd and its global subsidiaries are committed to eliminating the exploitation of people within our business and throughout our supply chain. This statement summarises how X4 operates and the policies and processes we have in place in order to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in relation to our work as a global talent partner.

Our Business

X4 is a private limited company operating in the recruitment sector. We provide introductory services for permanent vacancies as well as temporary worker and contractor services to our clients across the globe. X4 has a physical presence in three countries with specialisms in the Life Sciences, Communication and Tech sectors.

Our Supply Chain

Acting in the middle of the supply chain, we are fortunate to have good visibility by default. Nevertheless, we pride ourselves on having high standards, and being directly engaged with candidates for both permanent and contingent supply, we perform checks on right to work in the relevant jurisdiction for all placements. For contingent work, we also obtain clear evidence of correct registration with local authorities.

All suppliers and partners X4 decides to work with are vetted and regularly audited. Such partners and suppliers include umbrella companies/EORs, IDSP, software providers and advisors. Any partner of X4 which deal with employment of workers, must be able to evidence their compliance with all relevant local laws, for example by proving correct salary payments without any unauthorised deductions, benefit offering and insurances.

The clients that we work with are predominantly located in the UK, United States and Europe. The candidates we engage with predominantly live in the same locations.

Other relationships

As part of our dedication to compliance and best industry standards, X4 is a member of both the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) (www.rec.uk.com), the Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) (https://www.apsco.org) and Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) (https://staffingindustry.com/?region=eng).

X4’s policies are established by the Legal and Compliance team, based on industry best practice and legal advice. We review our policies at regular intervals, or as needed to adapt to changes.

As part of this, our staff are encouraged to discuss any concerns that they have.  Training is refreshed regularly.

Risk Status and Management

After due consideration, we have not identified any significant risks of modern slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking in our supply chain.  However, we continue to be vigilant in order to be able to identify any unethical practices.

Additionally, we have taken the following steps to mitigate the risk of any issues:
