Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer

Contract Length: 12 months

Location: Wisconsin

We are looking for a Senior or Principal Automation Engineer to provide experience in PLCs, Data Historian, Network Integration, MES. The role will also have high collaboration with suppliers and system integrators.

Senior Automation Engineer – Primary Responsibilities:

• Experience and accomplishments in the implementation of manufacturing automation systems.
• Clear understanding of all aspects of co control system architecture. Capability to articulate different architectures including but not limited to virtual servers, operator interface practices, code development best practices, controllers and I/O.
• Experience building technology roadmaps and working with business architects to deliver the proper technical solutions to the business.
• Understanding of industrial cyber-security best practices for ICS systems.
• Historian experience
• Experience programming PLC/SCADA/DCS systems
• Rockwell or Delta V systems
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work with business customers in a highly dynamic environment.
• High personal integrity, credibility, and energy.

Senior Automation Engineer – Required Experience and Skills:

• 5 + years working in a manufacturing automation environment.
• 5+ years of working experience with process automation systems.
• Experience with building management systems.
• Prior working experience with solution delivery, system configuration, and a strong familiarity with the system architecture.
• Prior working experience with lifecycle management activities.
• Prior working experience in pharmaceutical, biological or bulk-manufacturing facilities is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of validation life cycle in a GMP environment
• General Understanding of IT infrastructure including networking, Windows server, virtualization, and storage technologies
