Project Manager, Life Sciences
We are a leading construction management firm specializing in high-profile life sciences projects. Currently, we are overseeing a $2 billion cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Raleigh, NC, and are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead this complex and high-impact development.
The Life Sciences Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a $2 billion cGMP facility project. This includes managing budgets, schedules, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance throughout the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead the $2B cGMP facility project from design to commissioning, ensuring it meets all deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and vendors.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Risk & Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, approve payments, manage risks, and control costs.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Safety & Quality Assurance: Ensure safety standards and quality controls are in place, and monitor construction processes to comply with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years in construction project management, with significant experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical facilities.
- Skills: Strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and communication skills. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, CCM, OSHA, LEED.
