Elixir Software Engineer

X4 Engineering is thrilled to partner with a rapidly growing, ambitious organization that’s redefining online banking.

Already collaborating with some of the top FinTech companies worldwide, this organisation is seeking an Elixir Software Engineer to enhance their API and implement new banking integrations on their platform.

They are looking for individuals who are passionate about functional programming, particularly in Elixir and/or Erlang. To thrive in this role, you should embrace an environment that values high responsibility and autonomy, holding yourself and your colleagues to the highest standards.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, Engineering, or a similar area.
• Experience in Elixir and/or Erlang programming.
• Proficiency in Phoenix / LiveView and/or OTP is desirable.
• Distributed systems experience.
• Experience developing APIs.
• Persuasive communicator and results orientated individual.
• Genuine passion for Elixir / Functional Programming and keen to contribute to the community (speaking at conferences, writing publications etc).

The role is available on-site / hybrid or remote basis.
